Student at commencement

Georgia Tech aspires to become the defining technological research university of the twenty-first century, and alumni support plays a critical role in advancing this vision. Alumni have helped recruit the best and brightest students, advise the Institute, drive philanthropy, and serve as advocates for Georgia Tech around the world.

The Alumni Association engages alumni by creating value in having a relationship with Tech after graduation. In order to provide alumni with the services, opportunities, and facilities they deserve, and to enhance the visibility and importance of the Alumni Association on Georgia Tech’s campus, the association must renovate its current building and construct complementary new facilities. This ambitious undertaking is estimated to cost $15 million. To that end, the Georgia Tech Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Institute, seeks to raise the private funds from alumni and friends to support the project.

The new Alumni Center will be a meaningful, strategic space where tradition frames the future. Located across the street from the Tech Tower and the Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field, the expanded Alumni Center will become the focal point in the redevelopment of Tech’s historic entrance at the North Avenue Corridor.

Through private support, alumni and friends can play a vital role in the expansion and renovation of the Alumni Center and the future success of alumni programs. For more information on how to direct your gift in support of the Alumni Center, contact Dorcas G. Wilkinson, Assistant Vice President for Development.
