Message from President Clough
Defining the Technological University
With the dramatic strides Georgia Tech has made over the past ten to fifteen years, it is tempting to declare that we have "arrived." We are now a top ten public university, with highly talented faculty and students who have helped Tech become a significant player on the national and global stages.
Even though we have arrived in one sense, our mission is far from complete. With the challenges created by state budget cuts and increased competition, we risk losing our momentum if we do not find additional resources.
That is why we have embarked upon a new campaign to help provide the investment capital we need to expand opportunities for students and pursue exciting new research and applications in fields like nanotechnology, high-performance computing, and personalized medicine.
Campaign Georgia Tech offers you the opportunity to be a part of the next leg of Georgia Tech's journey, and we want you to come along for the ride. It's sure to be an exciting one.
Sincerely,

G. Wayne Clough
President, Georgia Institute of Technology
