Corporations
Reaching out to the corporate community to create mutually beneficial partnerships has always been and will continue to be a top priority for Georgia Tech.
To help reach the mutual goals we have established with our corporate partners, we are especially interested in corporate support for endowed faculty chairs and student scholarships and/or fellowships. Such support ensures that our world-class faculty continue to produce the research results and products that benefit your company, while allowing Tech to continue to educate the highly talented students who will become your future leaders.
Georgia Tech offers exciting opportunities for corporate investment. Our Corporate Development representatives analyze institutional priorities as well as the work that supports the priorities of the Colleges of Architecture, Computing, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Management, and Sciences, undertaking major initiatives that grow out of specific corporate interests.
Corporate Development
The Office of Corporate Development is charged with reaching out to the corporate community to create partnerships for the mutual benefit of our corporate partners and Georgia Tech. The Institute is focusing its corporate philanthropy efforts on plant renewal, endowed faculty chairs, and student scholarships and fellowships. Beyond the confines of fundraising, Georgia Tech enjoys excellent relationships with the national and international corporate community, due in large part to the large number of co-op and internship students as well as recent graduates recruited by our corporate partners. The Corporate Liaison Program (CLP) provides corporations that are new to Tech with ready access to our campus. CLP was established in 1982 and is the largest industry-supported affiliate program at Georgia Tech. Its industrial members serve more than 20 student organizations and 300 faculty members annually.
"As an alumnus and long-time volunteer, I know first hand the rigorous training students receive at Georgia Tech.
As Chairman and CEO of a major chemical company, I'm equally aware of the national need for technology students who
are diverse and of high quality. Georgia Tech graduates more engineers than any other university. It is also one of
the country's most highly respected and well-funded research institutions. These factors, and many others, make our
graduates some of the most sought-after in the world."
