Athletics—Alexander-Tharpe Fund
Raising funds for scholarships to support Georgia Tech's student-athletes is the primary goal of the Alexander-Tharpe Fund. The program strives to raise enough funds in unrestricted annual giving to cover the cost of the full number of scholarships allowed by the NCAA.
The unique challenge we face stems from the need to offer as many scholarships as our competitors while simultaneously keeping our scholarship expenses in line with the funding we receive for our scholarships.
