Priorities & Needs: Students & Faculty

Georgia Tech's vision must be viewed in the context of what is and always will be our single most important priority: people. Attracting and retaining the most talented students, faculty, and research staff has made Tech the global leader it is today. From student scholarships to faculty professorships, your gift for support can make an impact in people's lives, whether directed to a specific college, school, or program.

Student Support

Students are at the heart of all that Georgia Tech does. Now, as in the past, student support remains an institutional priority. To ensure that Georgia Tech continues to attract the best students possible, we must provide significant scholarship support for qualified students, as we continue to invest in the student life initiatives that help develop the holistic students of today and the leaders of tomorrow.

Faculty Support

A great university cannot exist without high-quality faculty. Georgia Tech faculty not only provide the best educational experience for students in the classroom and the laboratory, but also attract recognition in interdisciplinary research in such key areas as medicine, the environment, and the economy. A number of vehicles are available for the enrichment of the Tech faculty, from nurturing junior faculty to the attraction and retention of senior teacher-scholars.
