Priorities & Needs: Undergraduate Cooperative Program
The Undergraduate Co-op Program in the Division of Professional Practice at Georgia Tech is designed for students who wish to combine career-related experience with classroom studies. Students who enroll in this program alternate between industry assignments and classroom studies on a semester basis, taking the same course work on campus that is completed by regular students. Students who participate in Co-op have the opportunity to develop career interests, become more confident in their career choices, and develop human relation skills through their work experiences.
Approximately 600 employers participate in this program throughout the U.S. and internationally. As a testament to the success of this program, we are pleased to note that it has been listed as one of the top 10 "Programs that Work" by U.S. News & World Report for five consecutive years. Your gift to help support the Co-op Program at Georgia Tech can ensure that it continues on the this successful trajectory. Gifts and commitments may be directed for general program support of Co-op and for scholarships to support Co-op students during the semesters they are enrolled in classes on campus.
